The “Three Friends of Winter” in traditional brush painting are the Plum Blossom, Pine, and Bamboo. We’ll use ink, rice paper, and bamboo brushes to combine all the “friends” in one painting. Refresh your brush painting skills in a non intimidating and fun environment. You’ll also receive lots of encouragement as you develop your own personal approach. Class includes demonstration plus open painting time. Beginners through advanced artists welcome — watercolorists and other painters will also find this useful. Please see supply list for additional items you will need. Bring a lunch.
