Cozy and warm, your new felted slippers are great for the colder days ahead. Learn to layer colorful wool fibers over a custom-sized pattern made from your own feet. Then, explore traditional wet felting techniques and transform the fibers into durable felted slippers. You can even make your slippers reversible! We’re on our feet a lot in felting classes. Some physical stamina required. Previous felting experience helpful.

Finding success in working with watercolor includes learning the basics. Sylvia will describe in detail the materials used in watercolor paintings and how the water and pigment work together on the paper. The class also involves learning brush techniques, mixing colors, graying colors or knocking down the intensity, methods for producing textures, doing value studies, and discussing what makes a good composition. Use a viewfinder to choose an eye-catching composition that can be painted in a larger abstract version, illustrating high, medium, and low key value. Curious?
