Art, Meditation, and Mindfulness

In this culture we have the tendency to be very busy – and very much “in our heads.” In this class we will utilize both art and meditation exercises to help you slow down, be mindful, and create intuitive, intensely personal pieces of art. You will be introduced to various exercises designed to use your intuitive mental state and tap into a creative state at will.

Join us as you create personal, inspired pieces of art. Projects/ techniques may include mandalas, labyrinths, collage, Zentangle, and more. Bring your own ideas for a personal project to complete with instructor’s guidance. Give yourself the gift of peace of mind and join us in this creative, relaxing, experience. Instructor brings a wealth of experience with her after spending 15 months in India studying Tibetan Thangka painting, Indian art, and various meditation techniques.
