Inspired by Nature: Garden Art & Floral Arrangements

Mahtomedi Garden Club

Inspired by Nature will highlight gardening and pollinators on August 3, offering visitors a pleasing spectrum of art, flower arrangements, speakers and activities. The Mahtomedi Garden Club will invite area floral artists to build on the exhibition Summer Celebration by the Lake Country Pastel Society in the Ford Family gallery by submitting floral interpretations of the artwork.

The beautiful floral entries will provide visitors with ideas for their own centerpieces and home decoration. Award-winning author Rhonda Reming Hayes will be the featured speaker. We are featuring a ‘make and take’ event to learn how to create a seed bomb for our pollinator and bird friends out of clay and wildflower seeds with garden club member Sue Kowalski.

Award ceremony will be at 4:15 PM.

If you are interested in creating a floral design for this event, please contact the Mahtomedi Garden Club: www.mahtomedigardenclub.org. Deadline for signup/selection is July 25. Designs of all types are welcome, from fairy garden to abstract, whimsical to formal.
