In this class students will create a 10” X 10” fused glass bowl with sloping sides. After learning about the different types of glass and glass safety, students will begin their design. Using glass saws, grinders and beattle cutters to get the glass the exact shape desired. Once the glass is cleaned and glued in place it will sit 24 hours before being transported to the teacher’s kilns for firing and slumping. Glass cutting experience is helpful but not necessary. Long hair needs to be pulled back and long pants and close-toed shoes are required. You will be called to pick up your completed pieces at WBCA when finished.
