Urban Sketchers

James Nutt
Urban Sketching in White Bear Lake! Urban Sketching happens indoors and out! Join instructor/architect James Nutt in this casual multimedia class in the spirit of the Urban Sketchers movement. Urban Sketchers is a nonprofit group started in 2007 with international and local presence with a goal of seeing the world one sketch at a time. The first two classes will meet at the art center and discuss examples of work, portable mediums, travel kits, tips and tricks, and lessons learned. The subsequent classes will meet at Washington Square in downtown White Bear Lake and surrounding venues. The instructor will help with critique and encouragement. This class is open to all skill levels, sketchers and painters, all portable mediums, and generally done in sketchbook-size media. Class will discuss tools of the trade but at minimum bring a sketchbook and pen/pencil.
