Founded in 1968, White Bear Center for the Arts (WBCA) is a non-profit community art center serving people of all abilities and generations. WBCA offers art classes, showcases exhibitions from a diverse range of artists, and connects the community to art resources.

Amanda Wirig
Amanda’s paintings and mixed media work utilize pop culture and humor to address social and political issues in a meaningful way. In addition to her art, she is a musician, teaching artist, and the owner of 119 North Weatherly art gallery in Minneapolis.
From 2018-2019 she served as a fine arts juror as part of the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars.
Chris Copeland
Chris first developed his interest in open and serene landscapes growing up in rural Washington County. Painting outdoors on location, Copeland’s main concern is to record nature’s transient moments where the light is fleeting and most effective. Using loose but controlled brushwork, he works quickly to capture the atmospheric effects of light, shadow and color as they play on the land.
Both emotional and expressive in content, his work is a testament to the mysterious beauty of nature.
Collette La Beau
Collette La Beau is a Minnesota based artist who works in colored pencils, gouache, acrylic gouache, watercolor, and graphite pencils!
Her artwork is vibrant, colorful, and highly inspired by the world around her!
