Founded in 1968, White Bear Center for the Arts (WBCA) is a non-profit community art center serving people of all abilities and generations. WBCA offers art classes, showcases exhibitions from a diverse range of artists, and connects the community to art resources.

Katherine Buenger

Katherine enjoys many fiber-related arts, including weaving, spinning, ply-split braiding, button making, and braiding with Sami tin thread.

Whether it is spinning the yellow pages, computer tape, or adding telephone wire to weavings, she likes finding something different and fun to do with her art. She's not afraid to break the rules and try something new, and encourages others to do the same.

Frank Zeller

Frank Zeller has a masters degree in art education and the fine arts. He has taught watercolor workshops in the U.S., Italy, and Spain. He has been an active part of the White Bear Center for the Arts for many years serving on the board as well as teaching.

An award-winning watercolor program designed by Frank Zeller is currently being taught in the White Bear Lake Elementary Schools.

Collette La Beau

Collette La Beau is a Minnesota based artist who works in colored pencils, gouache, acrylic gouache, watercolor, and graphite pencils!

Her artwork is vibrant, colorful, and highly inspired by the world around her!
