Week One

Stained Glass
Working with stained glass and copper foil, students will create a one-of-a-kind piece of glass art! A review of glass cutting and safety procedures is held at the start of the class. Copper foiling of glass pieces is followed by soldering them together. The finished pieces can be hung by rings that are attached to the pieces while in class. For safety, students must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and have long hair pulled back.
