Metal Ring Bracelet
Make great metal linked bracelets! Start with a spool of wire and then use jewelry tools to create small metal rings. As you link the rings together you can add beads and charms provided in class, or bring something from home for a personalized look.

Snow Day Collage
Do you ever wish for a snow day during the hot summer months? In this class we will make two beautiful collage works based on the picture book illustrations of Ezra Jack Keats (A Snowy Day) and Lois Ehlert (Snowballs). We will learn many paper-painting techniques and use a variety of papers while making our winter-inspired artwork.

You will find the heart and art of photography in two very full sessions! Learn how to focus in on abstracts, people, and nature. Capture lighting with shadows, sunlight, and flash. Color, black and white, inside and outside.

Kolrosing
Learn this ancient technique of cutting into wood and making beautiful designs. Using a special knife, learn how to cut your own design into the wood and rub cinnamon into the cuts to make the design appear.  This makes a great wall hanging!

Mobiles are kinetic sculptures which hang from the ceiling. Using twigs, shells, beads, feathers, and wire we will make beautiful mobiles which celebrate nature. We’ll explore the mechanics of balance and the joy of mixing materials as we craft our cool creations.

Clay Chia Pet
You’ll design and create your own unique chia planter complete with grooves for the chia plant to grow. Each participant goes home with a bag of seed and instructions. Fired projects will be ready to pick up approximately two weeks after class.
